The short version. This is a brochure website. The personal information you give us directly is what you type into our contact form, and we use it to answer your inquiry. (Our feedback surveys are anonymous.) We use a few analytics and advertising tools, and a consent banner controls them: if you are outside Florida, they can't set cookies or identify you until you say yes. Who we are
This website is operated by The Precision Companies: Precision Fabricating & Cleaning Co., Inc. (PFC) and Precision Mechanical Inc. (PMI). In this policy, "we" means both companies. We provide precision cleaning, fabrication, and testing services for industrial customers. Our headquarters is in Cocoa, Florida, and we also operate locations in Lakewood, Colorado and Black Hawk, South Dakota. This policy covers the website at www.precgroup.com.
What we collect
Information you give us
Our contact form asks for your name, work email, phone number, and a description of the services you're requesting. The form pages are hosted with Instapage, and your submission is delivered to our sales team. A salesperson replies by email, and sometimes by phone.
We also have short customer and supplier feedback surveys on our site. They ask for ratings only. We don't ask for your name or contact details on them, and we use the responses to maintain our quality standards.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we use analytics and advertising tools that can collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, how you arrived here, and general technical details about your browser and device. Every one of these tools is named in the next section, and whether they run at all depends on your consent choices, which are described below. Separately, like virtually every website, our hosting and security systems keep routine server logs (which include IP addresses) for security and troubleshooting; these are not linked to your form or survey responses.
What we don't collect
There are no user accounts on this site, no purchases or payment processing, and no newsletter. We do not ask for or knowingly collect Social Security numbers, financial account information, or health information through this website.
How we use your information
We use contact form submissions to respond to your inquiry, prepare quotes, and keep reasonable business records of the conversation. We do not add you to a marketing email list. We use the analytics and advertising data described below to understand how the website is used and to measure and improve our Google Ads campaigns.
We do not sell your personal information. We never have, and nothing on this site is set up to do so.
The tools running on this site
In plain terms, here is everything we use, what it does, and who provides it. Our Cookie Policy page lists the specific cookies each tool can set.
- WPConsent is our consent banner. It remembers your choices and controls whether the tools below are allowed to run. Its own two cookies are essential and only store your preferences and region.
- Google Tag Manager loads our Google tools according to the consent choices you make.
- Google Ads measures whether our advertising works (conversion tracking) and supports remarketing, which means that after you visit our site, you may see our ads on Google and its partner sites. Remarketing only operates for visitors whose consent settings allow it. You can opt out of personalized Google ads at adssettings.google.com or aboutads.info/choices.
- Google Analytics gives us statistics about site traffic, such as which pages are visited and how visitors found us.
- Microsoft Clarity creates heatmaps and session recordings that show how pages are used, so we can improve the site.
- Fathom Analytics counts visits without cookies and without identifying you personally. It briefly processes your IP address to recognize repeat visits, then reduces it to an anonymous code that is deleted daily, so neither we nor Fathom can identify you. Because of this design, it runs for all visitors regardless of your consent choices, and it processes EU visitors' data on EU-based servers.
- Swarmify delivers the videos on our site so they load quickly.
- Google Maps powers the embedded maps showing our locations.
- Instapage hosts our contact and landing pages and processes the form submissions you send us.
One honest detail about Google's tools
We use a Google feature called Consent Mode. Before you make a consent choice, and if you decline, Google's tools set no cookies and store nothing on your device. They may still send limited signals (sometimes called cookieless pings) that Google designs to be anonymous and uses to measure activity in aggregate. Like any web request, those signals briefly involve your IP address; our legal basis and safeguards for that are described in the EU and UK section below. Full measurement and remarketing only happen after you consent. We're telling you this because most privacy policies don't, and we think you should know exactly how it works.
What you see depends on where you are
Our consent banner behaves differently by region, and this section describes exactly how.
- European Union and United Kingdom: nothing sets cookies or collects identifying information about you until you opt in through the banner. Most tools are blocked outright. Two exceptions load either way: Google's tools, in the cookieless mode described in the section above, and Fathom, which uses no cookies and retains nothing that can identify you. If you decline, that is all they ever receive, and only essential cookies are used.
- California: we treat California visitors exactly the same way, which is stricter than California law requires.
- Florida: the tools described above run by default for Florida visitors. You can opt out at any time using the cookie settings icon (the small gear) that appears on our pages, by using a browser with Global Privacy Control enabled, or by emailing us at websiteinfo@precgroup.com and we will help.
- Everywhere else: the same as the EU: no cookies and nothing identifying until you accept through the banner, with the same two exceptions described above.
Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser sends the GPC signal, we honor it automatically, in every region, including Florida. GPC is built into privacy-focused browsers such as Firefox, Brave, and DuckDuckGo.
Who else receives information
The service providers named above receive the data their tools collect, under their own privacy policies:

Our email is handled by our email provider, which processes messages you send to websiteinfo @ precgroup.com. We do not sell personal information to anyone, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
If you're in the EU or UK
For visitors in the European Union or United Kingdom (where the GDPR and UK GDPR apply), here are our legal bases. Anything that can identify you, meaning Google's full measurement, advertising and remarketing, and Microsoft Clarity, runs only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the banner's settings.
Two things run without consent: Fathom's counting and Google's pre-consent signals. Neither stores or reads identifiers on your device: no cookies, no local storage, no fingerprinting. Both briefly involve your IP address, which EU law treats as personal data, and our basis for that processing is legitimate interest, kept defensible by strong minimization.
We use Fathom in a configuration designed to follow EU audience-measurement guidance: first-party, aggregate statistics only, EU-based processing for EU visitors, and the IP immediately reduced to an anonymous code that is deleted daily. Google designs its pre-consent signals to be anonymous and cookie-free; regulators have debated their status, and we disclose this use and will adjust our setup if guidance changes. Nothing retained by either tool can identify you.
We process your contact form submission because it's necessary to respond to your request and take steps toward doing business together, and to pursue our legitimate interest in operating the company.
We're a US company, so your information is processed in the United States. Our service providers, including Google and Microsoft, participate in the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission recognizes as providing adequate protection for these transfers. One exception works in your favor: Fathom Analytics processes EU visitors' data entirely on EU-based servers.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email websiteinfo @ precgroup.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
If you're in California
We do not sell your personal information, ever. We also do not share it for cross-context advertising unless you opt in: California visitors get our stricter opt-in treatment described above, with the same two cookieless exceptions. If you do opt in, Google's remarketing counts as "sharing" as California law defines it, and you stay in control: withdraw any time using the gear icon, or use a browser with Global Privacy Control, which we honor as a valid opt-out. You also have the right to know what personal information we have about you, to ask us to delete it, and to correct it. We will never treat you differently for exercising these rights. How long we keep things
We keep form submissions and the resulting email conversations for as long as we need them to handle your inquiry and maintain reasonable business records, including the quality records our industry requires. If you'd like us to delete your information, email us and we will, unless we're required to keep it.
Children
This is a business-to-business industrial services website. It isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No website or email system can be guaranteed 100% secure, so please don't include sensitive information in a contact form message.
Links to other sites
Our site links to services we don't operate, including our Facebook and LinkedIn pages and Google Maps. Those services have their own privacy policies, and this one doesn't cover them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
