Testing and Calibration

Cryogenic systems are necessary for several industries, and PFC has been offering its services to some of the world's leading companies in this field. This includes cryogenic testing, which is used to identify potential failure points and check welded areas of repaired components like valves.

PFC offers pneumatic and hydrostatic tests to ensure the safety of pressurized systems, such as piping assemblies and pressure vessels. Hydrostatic testing involves filling an item with liquid and removing air before pressurizing it up to 1.5 times the design limit, while pneumatic testing uses air or an inert gas like nitrogen at 110% of the initial pressure limit before monitoring it for leaks.

For relief valves, periodic inspection and standardized testing are required by various standards for proper functioning and safety.
