PFC Maintenance Services - Field Cleaning:

Since the 1960's, PFC has been operating at air force bases in Florida and California in addition to other locations to field clean existing pipes, vessels, pumps, valves, and other hardware.  We can mobilize on short notice to pressure test, passivate, or precision clean at your facilities.  Our personnel can assist in determining the processes you need to get the results you want.  At all locations, Precision offers:

PFC Maintenance Services - Trailer Refurbishment:

PFC has fabricated and maintained compressed gas trailers (CGT) and other trailer chassis for decades to customers that include NASA, the United States Army, and the United States Air Force.  Our trailer refurbishment program includes:

• All required DOT approvals

• Refurbishment of K-bottles in accordance with applicable standards, including complete testing, drying, blasting, priming, painting, cleaning, evacuating, repair and replacement of hardware, labeling, decaling, and analysis

• Annual (or other recurrent time schedule) program of preventive and corrective maintenance on mobile and portable propellants equipment

• Remanufacture of mobile, portable, and moveable propellant equipment in accordance with applicable ASME, ANSI, and customer-specific requirements

• Full trailer chassis refurbishment, including:

  • Inspection

  • Cleaning

  • Welding /  bodywork

  • Maintenance of brakes, lighting, running gear, etc.,

  • Abrasive blast of tubes, chassis, and framework

  • Final paint, including application of all ID labels and logos

  • Road test and qualification

• Chemical cleaning, testing, purity analysis, component remanufacture, precision cleaning, certification, and associated engineering, as required

• Modification/Upgrades of propellant / trailer equipment in accordance with approved design packages or specific instructions

• Experience with delivery systems for ultra-pure gases including hydrogen, helium, nitrogen and breathing air

PFC Maintenance Services - Testing:

PFC is industries’ prime source of specialty testing services:

• Hydrostatic testing to 50,000 psi with potable water and 15,000 psi with Freon TF
• Inspecting and testing DOT pressure vessels and compressed gas vessels since 1969
• Vessel testing up to 44 inches in diameter by 40 feet in length
• The only volumetric test well in the Southeast capable of handling jumbo tube cylinders
• Pneumostatic testing and certification to 10,000 psi dynamic and 35,000 psi static
• Component certification and qualification

PFC Maintenance Services - Reconditioning:

Component reconditioning means Precision will ensure that the final product is within specifications and that it will operate as it was originally designed - or better.  Pipes and tubing will be completely cleaned, pressure vessels will be repaired, repainted, and pressure tested, and valves will contain new soft goods and be precision cleaned.  All welds are done by qualified personnel with appropriate mapping and testing.  Painting is to specifications and will bring restore hardware to that new appearance.

PFC Maintenance Services - Precision Cleaning:

PFC's cleanrooms range from class 100 to class 10,000 and are in continual use providing contract cleaning services.  These services include hand application, ultrasonic, chemical, passivation, and high-pressure cleaning.  For validation, Precision uses NVR and particulate testing.
